REFUNDS FOR SUPERMARKET HUNT

DEAR PARTICIPANTS,

WITH REGARDS OF THE FEEDBACK WE GOT FOR THE SUPERMARKET HUNT. THE MANAGEMENT WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE CAUSED DURING THE COMPETITION. SUNSHINE CITY HAVE AGREED TO TAKE UP PARTIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CAUSED AS WELL FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO PROVIDE THE VENUE LAST MINUTE DUE TO SOME TECHNICAL REASONS.

AS FOR PENANGYOUTHS, WE WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE POOR MANAGEMENT AND RUDE INTRUSION BY THE VOLUNTEERS. ON BEHALF OF THAT, WE WOULD WANT TO MAKE IT UP TO ALL PARTICIPANTS.

WE WILL REFUND YOUR RM50 WITH THE NATIONAL CERTIFICATES AND ON TOP OF THAT SUNSHINE CITY WOULD GIVE YOU A RM10 VOUCHER FOR EACH TEAM.

Merdeka Drawing Competition

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.    The theme for this competition is “Coming Together As One”
2. This competition is open to
-    Category A: 13 – 17 years old
-    Category B: 18 – 30 years old
3. Participants will be judged on :
a.    Originality and creativity – 40%
b.    Clear communication of layout & color – 30 c.    Practical Skill – 30%
4. The drawing has to be produced on a standard drawing block (138gsm) and only
    on one side of the paper.
5. All participants shall receive a National Level Certificate of participation.
6. ALL participants MUST be in Penang Times Square on 30/08/2010 at 7pm for the prize presentation and certificate
    presentation.
7. The organizer is not responsible for the loss or mishape of the drawing and the judges
    decisions are final. No objection will be entertained.
8. 1st Prize : X1, RM 500 cash + Trophy + Certificate
    2nd Prize : X1, RM 300 cash + Trophy + Certificate
    3rd Prize : X1, RM 100 cash + Trophy + Certificate
    Consolation Prize:  X 5  Trophy + Certificate
9. All drawings and Winners’ drawings will be published on the event date
10. The deadline of submission is 20th August 2010

Merdeka Supermarket Hunt

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1.This event is open to the public on a first-come-first-served
basis, limited to a maximum of 40 teams.
2.Four (4) participants in a team.
3.Participants must be 13 years old and above.
4.Registration Fee: RM50 per team including RM10 of returnable deposit.
5.On the event date, Participants must bring along their original ID and the
payment receipt given by The Organizer to prove their identity and to claim the
deposit.
6.Decisions made by The Organizer are final. No protest will be entertained under
any circumstances.
7.The Organizer will not be held responsibility towards any injury and misshape
that arise before, during and after the event.
8.Rules and Regulations as well as the date of event are subjected to be changed.
9. ALL participants must be in Penang Times Square on 29/08/2010 by 3pm.
ALL participants MUST also be in Penang Times Square on 30/08/2010 at
7pm for the prize presentation.
10.The Grand Prizes are:
Champion – RM500 worth of Cash and Hampers + National Certificates
1st Runners-up – RM300 worth of Cash and Hampers + National Certificates
2nd Runners-up – RM200 worth of Cash and Hampers + National Certificates
